Michael Ryan but now he is William Lloyd on Facebook and is very good looking and has a phone number 303-787-0913. Within two days on POF, he was way too sweet and told me very sad stories of his life. He is supposedly under contract to clean up a spill on a rig near Cyprus. Mine is posted on this site under Nigerian Dating scams: Steve Vig Oil Rig Engineer. Then a while later he needed more money for his machines breaking down. He told me if I hear they work on a Rig in the Gulf Or somewhere else just delete them because they are scammers. This one is a widower who sent a picture of his little girl too. I got a friend request by a man named Alexander Robert. Wish I had known that there is an oil rig engineer scam going around before I communicated with him!
Can anyone do something with this like a trace back. I immediately called his bluff and haven't heard from him since. I'm sure he would have asked for money down the road, but I wasn't falling for that flake. I never thought I would be a victim of a dating scam. Why do these scammers have to bring children into their scam. They are scum of the earth, have no class what-so-ever even though we fell for them. He also said they are giving the good Riggers bad names and its a shame for them also but to believe a Contract engineer or rough neck would not have time for such nonsense. He sent me a friend request and he was telling me how he loved me and that he's been mourning his late wife and had 1 son and he said that this was his first time on the internet since his wife passed away. I blocked him on cell and messages; he just called me on a friend's phone! God bless you all, Like I said in a previous comment, these low-lives are trained to lure us, to attract us in their trap just for money.
He explains she's actually half Ghanaian and half Scottish, and I shouldn't jump to conclusions and be so suspicious. Seems like the scammers are popping up on every website, too bad they have ruined it for the decent people just looking to make friends. Profile says from Denmark, but he says he is from Ireland.
He asked for my snail address to send me a card but what I got was a dozen long stem Roses, a teddy bear and a box of Candy. Every Day I did an ip search and boy this guy traveled! I was getting bored with him so I told him I was very poor and I had nothing to offer him. He did such a job on me that I'm still second-guessing myself if he is a scammer or not. That didn't work so then when he told me after Christmas he would come and visit me but he wasn't in the state and that was the bye bye. He's in Glasgow, got robbed a week ago, they took traveler's checks he was using to pay his slot at the refinery. As soon as I heard he was robbed, I've been waiting to get the urgent request, and it came about 4 days later.I showed him a copy of his ip trace.said I would die - be killed. He never asked for money, I thought I was always a step ahead of him. Because of issues the previous year, he left strict orders with his bank that no money could be wired from his account without his presence.Same true for his 3 credit cards (all from the same bank? If he leaves Glasgow to access his money, his crude will be unattended (no money to pay for storage) and who knows what can happen to it?And their opinion is very correct because we have to pay for their time, effort and attention. I laughed so hard when I saw that and had to call him out on it! Have any of you ladies been contacted by John Sonderman? Like others here, pretty soon he asked me to meet in a "viber" chat room. Told me about his daughter, Nora, who lives with him and a nanny. Then, pool of bidders for the job narrowed down to 2 and he was one of them. Okay, though because I learned a LOT about myself from this experience--I came out ahead! It hurt like hell but, we survived and never forget that.
I was tested by so many scammers that I will never accept to go on a dating sites and on fb. He was on all dating sites and Facebook and has scammed women out of millions of dollars. He claimed to be an underwater welder on a rig in the gulf of Mexico. Next, he was off to England for final selection, which he of course won. Yes I had a scammer too that I had his pictures checked from the scammers site on FB, they said it seemed they were taken off a video because it looks like he was talking in all of them, and one was cropped and the head was put on someone else's photo. They sure can get angry and mean when we say no to money, after I lost money to mine but refused to send anymore so he is on the loose to find another to fix his machines on a so called Rig out in the gulf and I know I will never see a penny of it. The men in the pictures they send aren't who they really are. Your Donald Ray or Ray Donald sounds like my Christian Jason.
So after the romantic talk he did and on his profile picture he is handsome as ever. Please help I am enclosing this website so please go on and sign the petition, and you can ask for your comment and name not to be displayed nor shared on Facebook. When I put the "selfie" on download, links came up with his photos and the same Facebook page. Our lives, our turmoils and deception mean nothing to them..are interested in our money and possessions.
He told me that his son was dieing and the Doctor said that he needed 550 dollars up front to do the surgery. It's a start to stopping fake profiles on Facebook.https:// Together we are strong. Not sure how strangers find widows on Facebook, but he did. I decided to ask for a selfie of him on the rig; what he sent me was definitely on a boat with land in the background but not on a rig. I read in a comment made by a scammer that we get what we ask for... There are so many social meeting sites, please read all of these woman who have been scammed. Hope you are smarter than me, unfortunately this person took both. Ladies for all we know we could all could have been speaking to the same Creature or at least one of the many in the bunch.
I don't get it in my profile I put "if you are a scammer do not contact me as I have no money" I don't get it? On first Met the guys look ok (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) normal but be cautious because two guys said they were deployed in the service so I asked why get on a dating site if your not home but no response yet.
Remember if it sounds too good to be true it is but even if he's real no decent man or woman would ever ask for money from someone they never met.
We were both on a dating site and he quicky asked me to jump over to Yahoo and use regular email so I set up a bogus account on Yahoo and also gmail, and Installed the chat. Widowed, one child , age 15 however, once we got to regular email his emails were very choppy. He said he was self Employed oil rig engineer in Houston, Tx with 8 men working with him.
